Newsletter Winter 2009/10
The 2009/10 AGM will be held on
Please remember
that nominations for Committee membership and any motions to be included on the
AGM agenda must be submitted to the Secretary before 1st
March. You will be able to view the proposals and motions on the Club website and
notice boards at both lakes after 1st March. We asked a respected
fisheries consultant to provide advice on fish care and water management and
some of her recommendations will be included in these proposals.
Renewal forms for
next season’s membership will be sent out before the
end of January and must be received back before 31st March. New
members will be considered for membership after this
date. As with last season a £20 working party levy has been added to the senior
subscription fee and £10 will be refunded for each working party attended
(maximum refund £20). This money will continue to be invested
in improvement and maintenance work at both lakes. After three years with no increase unfortunately it has been necessary to increase
subscriptions slightly this year.
Working parties
will be held on the following dates: Harrow on Sundays 21st and 28th
March, 4th and 11th April and at
