Nominations & Proposals

 

COMMITTEE NOMINATIONS

(there is only one nomination for each of the following positions.

COMMITTEE MEMBERS – THE FOLLOWING ARE ALSO STANDING UNCONTESTED:

STEVE BROWN, TERRY BROWN, MARK GRASSI, TONY KRUCK, GORDON MACNAMARA  

 

At the meeting the attendees will be asked to re elect the current Committee.

 

PROPOSED RULE CHANGES

To be carried the resolution must be approved by two thirds of the members present.

 

AMMENDMENT TO RULE 15.5 (Fish Care) – Proposed by J Wood, Seconded by J Jacob

Rule to read ‘Any nets used at Club waters to be thoroughly dipped in disinfectant tank before fishing’  (deletion of ‘and after fishing)

 

ADDITION OF RULE 15.13 (Fish Care) - Proposed by J Wood , Seconded by D Bartlett

no more than 2kg of groundbait may be used per member per day at any club water’

 

AMENDMENT TO RULE 17.11G: POINTS SYSTEM & LEAGUE SPLIT – proposed by J Jacob, seconded by J Williams

1) For the purposes of deciding league positions a competing member’s top 85% (change from 75%) of matches will count except where the member has not fished 85% of available competitions. In which case all matches fished will count.

2) League 1 to include the top 15 anglers (change from 12) based on previous performance

 

ADDITION OF RULE 17.11 (i) viii) COMPETITION RULES proposed by D Bartlett & seconded by J Wood

a) all carp over 10lb to be weighed and released immediately (witnessed by neighbouring angler)

b) any competitor with over 40lb (a 10lb leeway will be allowed) in one net to be weighed in immediately or use an additional net. (Note that it will be the responsibility of the member who borrows them to return any of the club’s nets to the shed after the match.). Any weight in excess of 50lb in one net will not count.

c) During summer competitions all anglers to be weighed in after 3 hours (of a six hour match)
